Day 2 of the Defend Migrants Conference in Portland, OR included workshops, more cultural sharings, and a closing keynote from the International Migrants Alliance. Organizers and community members resolved to raise the intensity of our local fights and coordinate our campaigns at a national level, while also building international solidarity and strength to fight collectively for even greater wins. With rising threats of fascist attacks against migrants including increased raids and further deployment of National Guard to suppress resistance, over 1000 people and close to 100 organizations came together to unite and launch the Defend Migrants Alliance.
