Take action on
International Migrants Day
(December 18)

This past year, our community and migrants of all nationalities came under attack by the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. And rather than genuinely and boldly coming to our defense, the Philippine government has more often than not looked the other way.

But you have been there. You have joined us in accompanying our loved ones to immigration check-ins and visiting them in detention, in signing petitions and donating what you can, in providing medical care and spiritual healing, and in taking action inside the offices of our elected officials and most importantly out on the streets.

Together, we have freed Ate Michelle, Kuya Dante, Aunty Lynn, Kuya Max, Tito Ernie, Alma Bowman, and more. But Kuya Greggy and Tita Rebecca are still being denied urgent medical care. Ya'akub and Kuya Sonny are still in Georgia torn away from their families. Seafarers continue to be unjustly deported at an alarming rate. And many of our kababayan—maybe even in our own households—continue to live in fear.

There are so many more of us to fight for, and to fight alongside. Join us to take collective action this December 18, International Migrants Day, to take a stand against Trump's attacks and the Philippine government's neglect and complicity. Our rallying cry: Free our families! Filipinos, fight back against repression & corruption!

Our Demands to the Philippine Government

AROUND THE PHILIPPINES millions are rising up against corruption and abuse of power, united by the call: "Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot!" [All those involved should be held accountable!].

HERE IN THE U.S. we echo these calls for accountability. We demand that the officials most responsible for migrants’ suffering—ATN Officer Bernice Santayana, Labor Attaché Macy Maglanque, Consul General Neil Ferrer, and Ambassador Jose Romualdez—resign immediately.

Join us in publicly naming them and demanding they step down. And ultimately, President Ferdinand Marcos must also be held accountable for failing to take a stand for our families.
